 Roller Shades
Our roller shades are offered in several materials:
solar screening fabrics, decorative fabrics and laminated fabrics. The solar shades are made of PVC-coated fiberglass that prevents harmful
ultra violet (UV) rays from entering your home. Some of the shades filter as much as 95%-99% of the sun’s UV rays. Solar shades also filter
out glare and the lighter colors reflect more heat than the darker colors, making your home more comfortable in hot summer months, and more energy
efficient. The more rays reflected, the more opaque the shade; i.e., visibility through the shades is lessened.
The fabric roller shades are made of decorative drapery materials. Some of them are laminated for durability and ease of cleaning.
The patterns range from modern to formal to whimsical – something for every decorating style.

- Our decorative roller shades are especially perfect for Arts & Crafts Homes, Victorian, Cape Cod, Colonial Revival and Bungalow style homes.
- The fabrics that are laminated (Reminiscent are the 3-ply) on both sides can be cleaned with mild soap and water. The other fabrics can be vacuumed but must be cleaned professionally.

Question: What does the "openness factor mean?
Answer: The "openness" of a fabric refers to the mesh or weave structure and determines the amount of heat and light that enters a room.
A more "open" fabric allows more heat and light to penetrate through, while a tighter mesh structure will block more light and heat.

Soft Screen is a unique woven fabric that features a patented 3-dimensional spun polyester
yarn which is extremely soft and strong. Soft Screen is made from environmentally friendly, recyclable, non-toxic raw materials.
It is also fire retardant, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, dirt repellent, UV stable and washable.
Styles 2000. 2100, and 2410 combine the distinctive features of sun control protection and indoor
air quality. This series is comprised of the first and only sunscreen fabrics to gain GreenGuard certification! GreenGuard evaluates over 75,000 chemicals including
VOC's, carcinogens and other toxins and certification is a requirement reference in the Leadership for Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Commercial
Interiors Rating System.
